The Socialites are a 4-piece function band based in The Borders and Berwick-upon-Tweed. We have an extensive repertoire of covers and Ceilidh music, with great vocals and harmonies, excellent musicianship and a thoroughly professional approach. With a wealth of experience playing at many different types of function, from weddings to birthday parties to corporate events, The Socialites will ensure your event is the perfect occasion you want it to be.

We provide:

A live band. Superb lead vocals and harmonies, excellent musicianship and a repertoire of songs from the 50s to modern day, as well as ceilidh dances (if required). And no backing tapes..

A professional sound and lighting system.

Additional music. If you have music on CD you would like played at any point we can do that. We also have recorded music to keep people dancing and entertained in intervals or at the end of the evening when the band has finished.

A piper. If required at any point in the day, usually for weddings.

Sound system and Master of Ceremonies.

A microphone and speakers can add that little bit extra to the wedding speeches while the Master Of Ceremonies to introduce the speakers is an often over-looked role that can add to the sense of occasion.

We cover Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, Jedburgh, Kelso, Coldstream, Berwick, Alnwick and further afield, get in touch with us for more information.
